Dam and siblings:

Augusta Ada, by Byron, was a multiple six furlong winner and achieved an excellent official rating of 87 during her career.
She has bred two time winner over five and seven furlongs Quandary, rated 78 and Milbanke, a three time winner over six and seven furlongs.
This mare has bred three foals of racing age and all are winners! She doesn’t miss!
She also has a half brother by Perfect Power who sold for £45,000 as a foal in December.

Her Sire – Ulysses – By a CLASSIC winner out of a CLASSIC winner:

Ulysses, a son of the late, great champion Galileo, was a dual Group 1 winner of the Coral Eclipse and the Juddmonte International. He defeated 27 individual Group 1 winners during his racing career and achieved a timeform rating of 130.
He has sired multiple stakes winners including White Birch (Group 1), Passenger (Group 2), Holloway Boy (Group 3), Mighty Ulysses (Group 3) and this year’s Royal Ascot Chesham Stakes winner Humidity.
His progeny have achieved prices of up to £320,000 at auction.

Race Record:

Surprised was an impressive winner at two when successful at Beverley over seven furlongs by a comfortable 2 and 3/4 lengths. Her winning time backed up a very taking performance.
At three she opened her campaign with another excellent run under a penalty over seven furlongs at Catterick. She was only beaten one and a quarter lengths by a rival rated 83 at a track that didn’t suit her.
She was awarded a rating of 80 following her first three runs.

Racing/Training Update:

Surprised has relished the step down in trip to 6F posting two excellent efforts including a 1/2 a length 3rd at Carlisle on her most recent start.
She will improve with racing as she learns to sprint and she will getting her head in front very soon.

Buzz Box – 3 wins and a rating improvement of 14lbs having joined the yard as a Maiden.
Namieitwhatyoulike – 5 wins including the LISTED Garrowby Stakes and the Great St Wilfred Handicap (Class 2). After joining the yard his rating improved 28lbs from 79 to 107.
Enderby Spirit – 3 wins and a rating improvement of 22lbs from 83 to 105.
Fendale – 3 wins including the Jump Jockey’s Nunthorpe at York.
Smalljohn – 12 wins after joining the yard.
