Bryan secured this super colt by Caturra from the Goffs Breeze Up Sale 2026. He is from a top class family and is a very exciting prospect.
His Sire- Caturra:
This lovely colt is by the fastest son of the record breaking sire and speed influence Mehmas. A winner of the GROUP 2 Flying Childers in a faster time than Big Evs, Caturra was eventually rated higher than Mehmas himself. His first yearlings this year have made up to £60,000 and have all been beautiful specimens.
Trained by Clive Cox who said, ‘A real sprinter in his width of hip. Caturra’s got a serious back end and engine. And very laid back, a wonderful mind. I’ve never had a sprinter with such a sober attitude.’
Damline: – Poppets Sweetlove was a three time winner over 7f to 1 mile. She has bred seven winners including:

Physical:
This is a lovely, scopey colt that covers the ground and walks for fun.
He is athletic and has a real quality outlook.
He passed a veterinary exam prior to purchase.
His Breeze:
This colt breezed on the bridle, something that you don’t often see. This is what really drew Bryan to him.
He covered the ground with ease and coasted past the stands with much in hand.

Training and race plans:
He arrived with us from the Goffs Breeze Up Sale (April 22nd) and has settled in well.
We will start his training here in Hambleton when we will assess what trip will suit. He will likely start over 6 furlongs.
He qualifies for Band C races so will likely start in a restricted novice or maiden race for two year olds.
