Dandy Breeze got off the mark at the second time of asking to win comfortably at Newcastle under Paul Mulrennan for owner Mrs Victoria Machen & Partner. This strapping son of Dandy Man was second on his first start over course and distance but he wasn’t for catching this time taking the Class 4 five furlong Novice event in a good time.
This was a third winner for Team Smart in 2026 and takes the strike rate to just shy of 40%!! A super start to the new year! There are lots of opportunities to get involved so don’t miss out on joining a team in form.
