This beautiful looking colt showed great presence when catching the eye at this weeks breeze-up sales at Doncaster and was promptly purchased by Bryan. His dam, Fear Not (IRE), was a winner for Michael Bell as a 2-year-old. She is half-sister to multiple winners including of Group and Listed races. Her sire, Alzao, produces many succesful broodmares.

 

Byron won the Mill Reef Stakes (Group 2) at Newbury and the Lennox Stakes (Group 2) at Goodwood and was also third in the French 2000 Guineas beaten less than a length. He stands at Sheikh Mohammeds Dalham Hall Stud and has his first crop of 2-year-olds running this season. He has already recorded his first winner as a sire.

 

This colts 3-year-old half brother was a winner as a two-year-old achieving an official rating of 79. He is also related to Mandurah (IRE) who was the winner of eight races.

 

As you will have seen from the video, he breezed extremely well and there is an awful lot to like about him both on paper and in the flesh. He is qualified for both the Racing Post Yearling Bonus Scheme and the Breeze Up Bonus.

 

As with our other syndicate, we are offering 10 shares in this colt although Bryan has expressed the intention to retain one of those shares as he is so taken with him. The shares are priced at £3,750 each which covers the purchase of your share in the horse and the training costs to the end of this flat turf season. This is not a lease arrangement, you will own the share in the horse.
